Cleaning Services Agreement
Last updated June 18, 2026
This document is a draft template pending review by a licensed Ontario lawyer before launch. It does not constitute legal advice. Some commercial terms shown use standard defaults and will be confirmed.
Effective date: June 18, 2026 Between: Clean Proper Inc. (“Clean Proper”, “we”) and the customer (“you”).
Draft template — review by an Ontario lawyer. Aligns with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act norms. Booking a service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
1. Services
We provide residential (and, where offered, commercial) cleaning services as described in your quote/booking (the “Service”). The scope, add-ons, frequency, and price are confirmed at booking.
2. Quotes & pricing
- Online quotes are estimates based on the information you provide (size, condition, tasks). Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially; we will tell you before proceeding.
- Prices include supplies and eco-friendly products unless stated otherwise. Taxes extra where applicable.
3. Booking, access & home readiness
- You agree to provide safe, timely access to the property at the scheduled time and to secure pets.
- If we cannot access the property or it is unsafe, a lockout/late-access fee may apply.
- Please secure cash, jewellery, and valuables; advise us of fragile or high-value items and surfaces needing special care.
4. Cancellation & rescheduling
- Free cancellation or rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Less than 48 hours: a cancellation fee may apply to cover reserved time.
5. Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied with an area, notify us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the affected area at no charge. This re-clean is your primary remedy.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the Service via e-transfer or credit card. Online card payments are processed by our payment processor; Clean Proper does not store full card details. Late payments may incur interest at the maximum rate permitted by law as permitted by law.
7. Liability
- We carry $2,000,000 commercial liability insurance and our staff are vetted.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or damage from improperly secured/defective items. Claims must be reported within 48 hours.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the affected Service, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).
8. Photos & marketing (see also Photo & Media Consent)
With your consent (opt-in at booking), we may take before/after photos and use them for quality assurance and marketing. We avoid capturing people, faces, documents, valuables, and address-identifying details. You may decline or withdraw consent at any time without affecting your Service.
9. Health & safety / right to refuse
We may decline or stop service in unsafe conditions (e.g. hazards, harassment, biohazards, pests) and may charge for time reserved.
10. Privacy
We handle your information per our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in effect at your booking applies.
