Photo & Media Consent

Effective date: July 9, 2026 Business: Clean Proper Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Clean Proper works with two kinds of before/after photos. One is a standard part of our service; the other is optional and happens only if you opt in.

1. Documentation photos — standard

On each visit, our cleaners take before and after photos of the areas we clean. This is a standard part of our service — for quality assurance and to protect both of us if a question about damage ever comes up.

• They are kept private and internal — never published or used in marketing.
• We focus on the surfaces being cleaned, not your belongings: no faces or identifiable people, no personal documents or screens, no valuables, and nothing that identifies your address.
• They are deleted after 7 days unless a concern or claim is open — in which case we keep only the relevant photos, and only until it is resolved.
• Tell your cleaner if any room or area is off-limits to photography.

This documentation is part of how we deliver the Service and is not conditional on the marketing consent below.

2. Marketing use — optional (your consent)

We’re proud of our work and like to show real results. Only if you opt in (the checkbox at booking) do you also grant Clean Proper Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use before/after images (and occasionally short video) of the cleaned areas in marketing — website, social media, ads, and Google — across current and future media. The protections above apply, and we make reasonable efforts to ensure published images do not show faces, valuables, documents, children, or anything identifying your address.

Declining has no effect on your service, price, or scheduling. You can decline at booking or withdraw at any time by emailing [email protected] — we will stop new use promptly and remove images from channels we control where reasonably practicable (content already shared or reposted by third parties may not be fully removable).

Staff in photos

Where our own staff appear in photos or video, we use them only with the staff member’s separate signed release.

Records

We keep a record of your marketing-consent choice (date and source) with your booking.

Marketing consent statement (for the booking checkbox):

“You may also use my before/after photos in Clean Proper’s marketing (optional). I understand that documentation photos are a standard part of the service, that marketing use is my choice, and that I can opt out anytime — subject to the protections in this Photo & Media Consent.” ☐
