Effective date: June 18, 2026 Business: Clean Proper Inc. (“Clean Proper”, “we”, “us”), Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Contact: [email protected] · 647-695-6878
Clean Proper respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
- You give us: name, phone, email, service address, property details (bedrooms/bathrooms/square footage/condition), photos you send us, booking and payment preferences, messages, and how you heard about us.
- Collected automatically: device/browser info, IP, pages viewed, and marketing attribution (UTM parameters, campaign IDs, a session ID) via cookies/analytics (see our Cookie Policy).
- From third parties: referrals, and reviews platforms (Google) where you choose to interact.
2. Why we use it (purposes)
- To respond to quote requests, schedule and deliver cleaning services, and contact you about your booking (by phone, SMS, email, or your chosen messaging app).
- To process payments and keep service records.
- To improve our services, website, and marketing, and to measure which ads/areas generate enquiries.
- To send service messages and, with your consent, promotional messages (see SMS Messaging Terms).
- To meet legal, tax, and insurance obligations.
We only use your information for the purposes above or as permitted/required by law, and we obtain consent as required.
3. How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers (processors) acting on our behalf: our CRM (KommoCRM), messaging/SMS provider, email provider, analytics (Google Analytics), hosting, and payment processor — bound to protect your data.
- Authorities where required by law. Some providers may store data outside Canada; where that occurs, the information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
4. Photos of your home
As a standard part of the Service, we take before/after documentation photos of the areas we clean, for quality assurance and damage/claim protection. These are kept private and internal, are never published, and are deleted after 7 days unless a concern or claim is open. Separately, only if you opt in, we may use before/after photos in marketing — you can decline or withdraw that at any time. In all cases we avoid capturing faces, identifiable people, documents, valuables, or anything revealing your address. See our Photo & Media Consent.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal/accounting requirements, then securely delete or anonymize it. Before/after documentation photos are deleted after 7 days unless a concern or claim is open, in which case we keep the relevant photos only until it is resolved.
6. Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information (access controls, encryption in transit, vetted providers).
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw consent (subject to legal/contractual limits) by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
8. Cookies & analytics
See our Cookie Policy. You can control non-essential cookies via our cookie banner.
9. Children
Our services are directed to adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Effective date” shows the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
11. Contact / complaints
Questions or concerns: [email protected]. If unsatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
